The blogger at Eridhan Creations has made it easy for you to create your own beaded bead like this one with super, step by step photos that detail this sometimes difficult to understand technique.

But, once you do, you'll want to make them over and over. They do make great charms, key fobs, pendants even earrings depending on the size.

Band of Peeps by Fusion Beads

Oh... my... gosh! It is not too often that I am thrown into fits of laughter at the absolute cuteness of things; but, this bracelet is too funny and cute to pass up. So much so - that I couldn't wait to post it.

Cute and Easy Brick Stitch Bracelet

Like almost any other bead stitch, brick stitch can be a booger to start and, yes, sometimes it looks like a train wreck before it starts looking like anything you want to continue to bead. However, I still love brick stitch and I am really digging this Cute and Easy Brick Stitch Bracelet created by Jennifer at the Beading Daily blog.

Brick stitch is one of those basic need to know stitches that every beader should have in her arsenal of knowledge. And, although brick stitch on its own can be kinda, sorta run-of the-mill, I love how Jennifer jazzed hers up with additional embellishment at the top.

22 Free Peyote Stitch Patterns

When I started beading many years ago, the peyote stitch was hot! Every bead artist was doing it and creating projects ranging from jewelry to amulet bags. Now, it's become part of every beader's repertoire because not only is it so versatile (odd count, even count, flat, one drop, two drop, freeform, circular, tubular - just to name a few versions); it is basically a really easy stitch - once you get past the first few rows. I love this stitch but, because I have a difficult time following a pattern, I always go for freeform peyote. Freeform is a also good way to use up leftover beads.

So, here are 22 free peyote stitch patterns for everyone from the beginner to the advanced beader.

Dreamcatcher Necklace by Minted Strawberry

Dreamcatcher Necklace
Project and Photo by Minted Strawberry
According to Native American legends, dreams are sent by the sacred spirits as messages to humans. And, dreamcatchers are used to send good dreams past the web and through the hole to the sleeper. As for the bad dreams, the web traps them and they disappear at the first light of dawn.

So, this Dreamcatcher Necklace may not be a true dreamcatcher, but I love the interpretation of that lovely symbol in this pendant.

You can use a large Swarovski crystal in a color that is special to you or the intended recipient to make it even more meaningful.

Crochet and Chain Mixed Media Bracelet

Don't let the color or choice of yarn put you off from making this one very cool bracelet - because I can see these made from some gorgeous silk or bamboo yarn.

A simple single crochet stitch is all you need to know to create these. And, you even have an option to use leather cord and pre-strung beads or wire instead of yarn.

Plenty of close up pictures to help you create a heap of these to wear accompany the tutorial and I love that.
